Dr Amelia Kohl

Before beginning my role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham in 2023, I completed my PhD in cognitive psychology at the University of Tasmania, Australia. While my primary research interests lie in understanding theoretical models that drive confidence in decision making (primarily in the context of recognition memory and perceptual discrimination), my research also spans more applied topics such as eyewitness memory, police lineup procedures, calibration of cognitive tasks and more.
